When friends come to visit us in the evening, they spend their time telling us that they are in a hurry and looking at their watches. It isn’t that our friends are all very busy. 直接引語變間接引語注意要點(diǎn)：
直接引語變成間接引語時(shí)，要注意以下幾點(diǎn)：人稱變化、時(shí)態(tài)變化、賓語從句要用陳述句語序。直接引語如果是________、_________等，變成間接引語時(shí)，時(shí)態(tài)不變。
時(shí)態(tài)變化的原則：
如果主句謂語動(dòng)詞為各種現(xiàn)在時(shí)或一般將時(shí)，則間接引語中的動(dòng)詞仍保持直接引語原時(shí)態(tài)。如果主句謂語動(dòng)詞為過去時(shí)，間接引語中的動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)按下列變化：

[觀察]

[拓展] in order to和so as to在句中表示目的時(shí)，�？梢赞D(zhuǎn)化成in order that或so that引導(dǎo)的目的狀語從句。如:

Save the Animals
Animals are natural resources(資) that people have wasted all through our history.
Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers(羽毛), for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever.
